Here at Nouveau we have been very fortunate to work with the writers of the Dream Home section of the Baltimore Sun. We have given out recommendations of homes that were transformed by our interior design company Whitehead & Appel Interior Design, customers of Nouveau or just friends with cool homes. This weekend The Baltimore Sun has chosen to feature Steve from Nouveau at his beach cottage located in Rehoboth Beach in the latest edition of Dream Home.

Now that the rain has sufficiently put a damper on this past week look to Nouveau to help brighten the days ahead. Let Nouveau help turn your house into a "Dream Home." Whitehead and Appel Interiors was invited to turn the lobby of the Fox building at MICA into a VIP setting for the Md. Film Festival Benefit last weekend. Combined with furniture and accessories provided by Nouveau the ever hip crowd ate drank and mingled the night away. After the cocktail party and movie memorabilia auction the attendees learned trade secrets of past movies including : John Waters turned down Brad Pitt for the starring role for "Cry Baby" for a lesser known TV star Johnny Depp.

Lee LIVE here @ the Javis Center in the trenches of retail. First thing I notice is that the Accent on Design Section (where Steve and I would find the coolest things has moved) It's now all baby goods and stuffed animals (not that there's anything wrong w/ that.) lol Also, heard from the front lines that due to the economy the show is not as large as usual. There used to be 2-3 piers to shop and due to the recession it's now down to one pier. I did find a way cool print line (Great Price!). I actually bought two prints (by this company) in @ a boutique in Philly for my place. So many images available! It's going to make a great gift for the holidays. I'm also, entertaining the thought of picking up Elements Soaps again. We did great w/ there products years ago , but dropped the line after everyone picked up on the trend. They're back and have great new packaging. Well, time eat lunch and recharge for the next level of the Jacob Javis Center!

The National Enquirer is finally put to good use!

What's up Nouveau Fans? Just in this week we have products of totally recycled goods. This collection is made from magazine overprints. The magazines are rolled by hand (much like sushi), cut and shaped into newsworthy home decor. These "green" products include photo frames, a set of 3 recycled magazine bowls and a 35" wall mirror.
